Our first phase of Project Princess was to put together a photo shoot for the girls interested in the show. We took several pictures of them, including a special shoot in which they dressed up as what they wanted to be when they grow up!
Project Princess is a Capstone project run by two girls in the James River High School Leadership and International Relations Specialty Center, Jessica Fulghum and Kayla Foliaco. "For the past few months, we've been working closely with the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation to put on a photo shoot and a fashion show for young girls who are standing strong in their battle against childhood cancer. This is a project that is super close to our hearts because Jessica received aid from the ASK foundation in 2010 when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We hope that, through this project, we can inspire younger girls to be able to see just how beautiful they, and their battles, are to the world."

The second phase of Project Princess will be a fashion show for all of the girls from the photo shoot! During the show, we will premiere our short film starring all of the princesses! This event will take place on Saturday, February 17th!
Finally, Project Princess will donate all of our proceeds to the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation! This money will be used to help families of girls just like the princesses from the show!
